TreeCare Crane Hire 2006 Ltd has been lifting awkward things around Auckland since 2006. It is based in Albany on the North Shore and works throughout Auckland, with other areas available on request.
The business is owner-operated by Terry. When you call, you are talking to the person who will assess the access, work out the reach and operate the crane on the day — not a dispatcher passing a message along. For most customers that is the practical difference: you get a straight answer about whether the lift is possible, usually on the first call.
The work spans arborist support, construction and transport, and a long tail of jobs that do not fit any category — spa pools over houses, containers onto prepared pads, plant on and off the deck, rock into landscaped banks, and the occasional Christmas tree.
Equipment and lifting gear are certified and maintained, and the business carries public liability insurance. Most of the effort, though, goes in before the truck arrives: understanding the access, the reach and the load, so the lift itself is uneventful.

How we work
Assess first
Access, obstacles, weight, reach, pick-up and placement — worked out before the truck is booked, not on arrival.
Say so if it will not work
If the lift is not practical or not safe, we will tell you early rather than turn up and charge for the visit.
Certified and insured
Certified operator and machinery, public liability insurance, and lifting and load-restraint gear that is certified and regularly tested.
